Generations United, a coalition of 120 groups concerned with U.S. health care, sponsored a conference entitled, “Beyond Medicaid: Building A Health Care System for All Ages.” During the opening forum, panel members discussed a variety of issues relating to health care in the U.S. to introduce topics for the conference, including Canadian health care, infant and child health care, and long-term care for the elderly. Mr. Leiderman and Mr. Thursz explained the goals of Generations United, a group dedicated to influencing public policy toward expanding the distribution of the U.S.' health care resources. close
