Three photographers discussed a selection of their own works that have appeared in National Geographic publications. The panelists gave a behind-the-scene’s look at the magazine’s photographic tradition and discussed the photographer’s art and craft. The panelists illustrated their remarks with projected images of their work.
Ms. Bendavid-Val, editor of In Focus: National Geographic Greatest Portraits, moderated the discussion. The book is a retrospective of portrait photography spanning more than ten decades of images by more than 150 photographers. The pictures showcase people around the world. After the slide-show presentation, the photographers responded to questions from members of the audience. close
