As a part of the legislative conference’s Author Pavilion, Kay Lovelace Taylor discussed her book, "Through Their Eyes: A Strategic Response to the National Achievement Gap", published by RBS. She discussed her research into barriers faced by minority students. She spoke about the students, parents, and teachers she interviewed while writing the book, and offered suggestions on how to reduce the gap in academic achievement between white and minority students. close
