Hotline Editor in Chief, Chuck Todd, joined C-SPAN’s Washington Journal and talked about state polling information and showed an Electoral Scoreboard for the 2004 Presidential Race which showed President George W. Bush gaining the lead in the Electoral College Vote count. He also discussed a court decision in Florida that allowed Democrats to nominate a replacement candidate in the 22nd Congressional district. The original Democratic candidate, Jim Stork, withdrew because of heart problems. close
