Jane Healy spoke by video uplink about her newspaper’s decision to endorse John Kerry’s candidacy for President. She discussed how her paper came to the decision and how things have changed since the election of 2000 when the paper endorsed President Bush. She spoke about the impact of a number of foreign policy and domestic issues that informed the decision. The Orlando Sentinel has not endorsed a Democrat since 1964. Ms. Healy also responded to telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail from viewers. close
