Former Spanish Prime Mininster Jose Maria Aznar testified before the Spanish Parliamentary Commission concerning the March 11, 2004 Madrid bombings. During his opening statement, he defended his government’s response to the attacks and admitted that his government was too quick to blame the Basque separatist group, ETA. Almost 200 people were killed and 1,900 people wounded in attacks. This is the first 90 minutes of a hearing that lasted over 10 hours.
