Former presidential staff members talked about advance work and preparation for presidential events. They discussed setting up presidential events for the press, including campaign events. The discussion also included a behind-the-scenes look at President Reagan’s funeral which they were involved in planning. Mr. Hooley was the Director of Presidential Advance and Mr. Littlefair was Lead Advance for President Reagan. Mr. Foster was also a former director for Presidential Press Advance in the Reagan administration and a former deputy press secretary for President George H.W. Bush.
