At a Pentagon Briefing, Department officials talked with reporters about the Joint Task Force for Sexual Assault Prevention and Response. They referred to the department’s Inspector General’s April 2004 survey which found more than 300 claims of sexual assault against women at U.S. military academies. Topics included prevention of sexual assault, privacy issues, investigations, and sexual assault response and counseling. Officials and task force members answered reporters' questions. close
