The National Press Club hosted a special tribute to the late Hunter S. Thompson. Colleagues and friends of the counter-culture author and journalist who died earlier in the year discussed Thompson’s impact on journalism, culture and politics. They talked about how they met Hunter Thompson and worked with him and about his lifestyle. Will Durst moderated the discussion.
Corey Seymour was Hunter Thompson’s editorial assistant at Rolling Stone magazine and co-editor of the magazine’s tribute issue to Hunter Thompson. Frank Mankeiwicz was manager of George McGovern’s 1972 presidential campaign.
