Ben Bradlee, former executive editor of the Washington Post, and Anna Roosevelt, granddaughter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, talked about the 50th anniversary of the Salk polio vaccine. They talked about personal and family battles with the disease as well as the impact of the vaccine on national public health. Following their remarks they were joined by Jennifer Howse, president of the March of Dimes Foundation, in answering questions submitted by members of the audience. close
