British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw gave his first policy address since the British elections earlier in the month in which Labour was returned to power. He outlined the United Kingdom’s foreign policy priorities for the next several years in the context of Britain’s chairmanship of the G-8 this year and the upcoming presidency of the European Union in the second half of 2005.
