Former U.S. Senator Zell Miller talked about his book A Deficit of Decency, published by Stroud and Hall Publishers. Zell Miller spoke about his concerns over the decline of Christian values, media irresponsibility, and a lack of role models in sports and music. He explained that the inability of the Democratic Party to effectively address these problems led him to deliver the keynote speech at the 2004 Republican National Convention. He was interviewed by John Anderson, former Congressman and 1980 Independent Party presidential candidate.
Zell Miller served as a United States Senator for the State of Georgia from 2000-2004. He previously served as Governor of Georgia from 1991-1999.
John Anderson is currently Chair of FairVote an organization that seeks elections that promote voter turnout, fair representation, and inclusive policy. Between 1961 and 1981, Mr. Anderson served ten terms as U.S. Representative to Congress from the 16th District of Illinois. He served on the House Rules Committee and for a decade was Chairman of the House Republican Conference. He served as States Attorney in Winnebago County, Illinois for four years.
