Jennet Conant talked about her book 109 East Palace: Robert Oppenheimer and the Secret City of Los Alamos, published by Simon and Schuster. In the book Ms. Conant, whose grandfather, former Harvard president James B. Conant, was the chief administrator on the Manhattan Project, focused on daily life in Los Alamos while making the atomic bomb. After her presentation Ms. Conant answered questions from members of the audience.
After the discussion scenes of the book fair were shown before Ms. Conant was interviewed by video remote from Washington, D.C. She responded to questions from viewers. close
