Gerarld Posner talked about his book Secrets of the Kingdom: The Inside Story of the Secret Saudi-U.S. Connection, published by Random House. He argued that Saudi Arabia’s influence on American business and politics posed a large threat to U.S. security. In his book Mr. Posner explained the findings of his 2-year investigation of the House of Saud. He discussed the failure of the 9/11 Commission to recognize the ties that bind the Saudi and American governments including the preferential treatment they received days after the 2001 terrorist attacks. After his discussion, he responded to audience questions. close
