He described various presidential retreats and the historic decisions and events that occurred at them.

His other books include Ronald Reagan: Biography, Feeding the Beast: The White House Versus the Press, and Air Force One: A History of the Presidents and Their Planes. Susan Eisenhower is a distinguished fellow at the Eisenhower Institute where she served as both president and chairman. Her books include Breaking Free: A Memoir of Love and Revolution and Mrs. Ike: Memories and Reflections on the Life of Mamie Eisenhower. close
