The 9/11 Public Discourse Project sponsored a forum on congressional reform at the Wilson Center. Among the issues that participants addressed were the appropriations process and funding for security measures, legislative proposals based on studies of the responses to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S., the influence of special interests in the legislative process, and the needs of the intelligence and law enforcement communities. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
