Gretchen Rubin talked about her book Forty Ways to Look at JFK, published by Ballantine Books. In her book she explored why former President John F. Kennedy holds such a prominent place in modern American history. The book looks at the former president’s life from a variety of angles including his privileged childhood, wartime service, close relationship with Hollywood’s actors, and the lasting mystique of Camelot. During her speech about President Kennedy’s impact on world society, she held up a copy of Newsweek with him flanked by Winston Churchill and former President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
