Ralph Peters discussed his book New Glory: Expanding America’s Global Supremacy, published by Sentinel. A retired military officer, he argues for a realignment of U.S. engagements abroad and reforming its military and diplomatic corps in his critique of national strategy. The discussion emphasized the value of practical experience and travel abroad. He also discussed the value of learning from history, immigration and human rights. He was interviewed by Anatol Lieven, journalist and author of America Right or Wrong: An Anatomy of American Nationalism.

Ralph Peters is a writer, strategist, and commentator. He is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who served in infantry and intelligence units before becoming a Foreign Area Officer and a global strategic scout for the Pentagon. He is the author of 20 books and several columns, articles and essays.
