Bing West, former assistant secretary in the Department of Defense under President Reagan, was interviewed about his book No True Glory: A Frontline Account of the Battle for Fallujah, published by Bantam. He discussed his account of the battle between the U.S. military and the Iraqi insurgents over the control of the city of Fallujah from November 7 through November 13, 2004. He discussed the political, strategic, and tactical problems and lessons that could be drawn from the situation. Some pictures were shown, including bodies hung from a bridge in Fallujah. He was interviewed by Mark Mazzetti, defense correspondent for the Los Angeles Times.

Bing West was an Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs in the Reagan administration. He served in the Marine infantry in Vietnam. He is the author of several books including: The March Up: Taking Baghdad with the U.S. Marines.
