As part of a forum on the future of public diplomacy, a second panel titled, “The Conduct of the Dialogue,” addressed issues of public perceptions of the U.S. abroad, Bush administration approaches to foreign policy, programs to encourage the spread of democracy, and efforts to combat international terrorism. Panelists also responded to questions from the audience. close
