In the book Mr. Larson juxtaposed the stories of architect Daniel Burnham and serial killer Dr. Henry H. Holmes. Both men played an historic role in the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.
The program was introduced with a video clip of Erik Larson speaking about his book at the University of Chicago Seminary Co-op Bookstore on February 18, 2003.
