Prime Minister Blair responded to questions and comments from members of his party and the opposition. Among the topics he discussed were the killing of a British soldier in Iraq, council taxes, unemployment, economic issues, terrorism, and health care. Outgoing Conservative Leader Michael Howard challenged the Prime Minister on his government’s economic record. Members also asked the Prime Minister about national ID cards and restoring party funds to Sinn Fein -- a political party who advocates the union of Northern Ireland with Ireland. close
