Senator Barbara Boxer talked about her book A Time to Run: A Novel, published by Chronicle Books. The Senator had been writing the political novel for seven years, working on the book during her long flights between California and Washington, D.C. Senator Hillary Clinton hosted this book party at the W Hotel in New York City to celebrate the publishing of the book. Senators Boxer and Clinton made brief remarks during the party, as did Senator Boxer’s co-author, Mary-Rose Hayes. Senator Boxer also read a brief passage from her novel.
Prior to their speeches, the co-authors were shown talking to guests at the reception. Senator Boxer was also seen signing her book and photographs. close
