American Compass, a conservative book club, handed out the inaugural American Compass Book Award for book of the year to Ann Coulter for her book How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must): The World According to Ann Coulter, published by Crown Forum. Mr. Miner introduced Ms. Coulter and presented her with a five thousand dollar check and Tiffany plate. She spoke about conservative issues, including future candidates. Ms. Coulter also spoke about U.S. Supreme Court nominees. Following her remarks, she responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
