A bipartisan conference was held on “Human Rights: Uncommon Leadership for Common Values.” Participants discussed aiding the disadvantage through bipartisan leadership and the mobilization from all sectors of society. The event was held at Georgetown University’s Gaston Hall.

During the third panel of the morning, General Clark and Professor Gompert participated in a panel titled “Putting the ‘Never’ in ‘Never Again:’ Halting Genocide.” They spoke about Western involvement in Africa and Serbian involvement in “ethnic cleansing” in Kosovo. Following their discussion, the panelists responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. Mr. Prendergast moderated the panel. close
