Telephone lines were open for viewer comments on news of the day. Callers discussed President Bush’s Friday, November 11 speech in Pennsylvania. In his speech, the president addressed criticism toward the war in Iraq and pre-war intelligence. Video clips of the president’s speech were also shown.

A brief video was shown of the collection of memorabilia left by visitors at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Mr. Felton, the curator, was interviewed inside the pressroom for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Collection at the Museum Resource Center of the National Park Service in Landover, Maryland. Mr. Felton talked about the history of the collection and the National Park Service’s plans to preserve it. close
