Representative Mica smoke about the firing of Amtrak president David Gunn by Amtrak’s board of directors and the future of the company. He supported the firing and was opposed to changes at Amtrak, including breaking off the Northeast Corridor to form a high-speed rail line and breaking off the Car train from Washington to Florida. Representative Mica is willing to keep Amtrak as a long-distance rail service that receives federal subsidies but with analysis to eliminate some routes. He also responded to questions and comments from viewers. close
