James Hansen talked about his authorized biography First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong, published by Simon and Schuster. In the book Mr. Hansen tells the story of the first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong. Mr. Hansen chronicled Neil Armstrong’s life from his childhood in Ohio, his education at Purdue University, his walk on the moon in 1969, to his service investigating the 1986 Challenger space shuttle disaster. Following his presentation, he responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
