Daniel Charles talked about his book Master Mind: The Rise and Fall of Fritz Haber, the Nobel Laureate Who Launched the Age of Chemical Warfare, published by Ecco. The book is about the life and work of Fritz Haber, a German Jew who was responsible for the development of Zyclon-B, an insecticide that was used to gas Jews in Nazi death camps. Mr. Charles talked about Haber’s German nationalism, the work that won Haber the Nobel Prize, and Haber’s relationship with Albert Einstein. Following his remarks, he responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
