Dave Eggers and Lola Vollen talked about the book they co-edited, Surviving Justice: America’s Wrongfully Convicted and Exonerated, published by McSweeney’s. They asserted that there are thousands of innocent victims in prison today. The book told the stories of thirteen people who are attempting to rebuild their lives after being exonerated. Beverly Monroe and Christopher Ochoa, who are both featured in the book, joined the co-editors. Following their presentation, the authors and their guests responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
