The Florida Supreme Court heard oral arguments on the Florida Marriage Protection Amendment initiative. The court will decide if the citizens' initiative is fairly summarized for the voters. The initiative seeks to amend the Florida Constitution to define marriage as a legal union between a man and a woman. The amendment, if approved by the Court, will be on the November ballot in Florida. close
