The Tuesday Evening Book Discussion group met to talk about Malcolm Gladwell’s book Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, published by Little, Brown and Company. The book explored the positive and negative aspects of the split-second decisions and snap judgments that people make every day.

Westlake librarian Susan Cozzens moderated the discussion. Book group members discussed a variety of topics related to the book, included purchasing decisions, unconscious decisions, movies, politics, law enforcement, and choosing a marriage partner.

The program opened with a video clip of Mr. Gladwell talking about his book at a Town Hall of Seattle, Seattle Science Lectures on January 26, 2005. close
