Jeffrey Peck talked about his book Being Jewish in the New Germany, published by Rutgers University Press. He described the lives of Jews living in Germany today, as well as the changes within Jewish communities since the fall of the Soviet Union which resulted in a large influx of Soviet Jews into Germany. Professor Peck also talked about why he wrote the book and read a selection from it. After his presentation he responded to questions from members of the audience. close
