Students from the University of Denver, Pace University, George Mason University, and the University of Kansas participated by broadband feed in a distance learning class.

Former Senator Bob Dole joined the class for a discussion on “Issues in Media and Public Policy.” The class focused on how Congress, as an institution, has changed from his years in the House and Senate, to the present. Other topics included his 1996 presidential campaign, the 2006 mid-term elections, and the 2008 presidential race.
