Senator Isakson talked about the immigration reform legislation being debated in the Senate during the week. The Senator proposed an amendment to the bill that would prohibit the implementation of any guest worker program until the Homeland Security Department certifies in writing that all U.S. borders are sealed and secured.

In February, he led a Congressional delegation to the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona and San Diego to talk with federal and local law enforcement officials there. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
