Young America: The Power to Vote, was produced by Michael Ciadella and Jeff Surmin, 12th grade students at J.W. Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, Florida. It was one of the third prize-winning videos in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest, a national competition in which middle and high school students produced a documentary exploring a current political topic using some C-SPAN footage and covering multiple viewpoints. The local cable company was Brighthouse. close
