Telephone lines were open for comments from viewers.

Caitie Adams was interviewed by telephone about her documentary video Science or Faith: Intelligent Design in Public Schools. The video, which she produced with Hillary Wood, and Anna Viterisi won the first place prize in the middle school category of C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest. This was a national competition in which middle and high school students produced a documentary exploring a current political topic using some C-SPAN footage and covering multiple viewpoints. They are 8th grade students at Lora L. Batchelor Middle School in Bloomington, Indiana, and their local cable company is Insight Communications. The video examined the topic of teaching intelligent design in public schools.
