The International May 1st Coalition announced the May 1, 2006, boycott for immigrant rights. They called for a strike by all immigrants to include boycotting places of employment, commerce, education, and any economic activity in order to demonstrate the place that immigrants hold in society. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters. close
