The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence held a hearing on the role and responsibilities of the media in national intelligence reporting and in unauthorized leaks of classified information. During the course of the hearing a report of shots in the Capitol required the room to be locked-down. The report later turned out to be a false alarm and did not interrupt the proceedings of the hearing. close
