A party celebrating the publication of Robert Remini’s latest book, The House: A History of the House of Representatives, published on May 1, 2006 by Collins for the Library of Congress and Smithsonian Books, was held in the Library of Congress Members' Room. 

In 2002, Professor Remini was appointed by the Library of Congress to research and write this history of the U.S. House of Representatives. On April 28, 2005, Professor Remini was appointed Historian of the U.S. House of Representatives. close
