Canadian Judge Philippe Kirsch talked about the topic, “The Role of the International Criminal Court in Enforcing International Criminal Law.” He explained that the ICC is an independent, permanent court that tries persons accused of the most serious international crimes including genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
