John Mosier talked about his book Cross of Iron: The Rise and Fall of the German War Machine, 1918-1945, published by Henry Holt and Company. He talked about the complexities of Hitler’s regime and his rise to power, saying that the Geneva Convention might have given Germany a loophole to torture and execute Jews. Germany was not one of the nations included in the Geneva Convention, which was formulated to set international law.
