Mark Smith was interviewed about his book Disrobed: The New Battle Plan to Break the Left’s Stranglehold on the Courts, published by Crown Forum. In his book Mr. Smith, vice president of the New York City chapter of the Federalist Society, argues that liberals use their control of the American judicial system to advance their political agendas. He suggests ways for conservatives to challenge liberals on this front. Mr. Smith was interviewed by Nan Aron.

Nan Aron is president and founder of the Alliance for Justice. Since 1985 the Alliance for Justice has been involved in influencing the judicial nominations process. They helped to defeat of the nomination of Robert Bork to the Supreme Court in 1987 and worked to bring about the filibuster of ten of President George W. Bush’s judicial nominees. Ms. Aron is the author of Liberty and Justice for All: Public Interest Law in the 1980's and Beyond. close
