Participants talked about the impact of the Internet and on-line technology on the news media at a forum celebrating the tenth anniversary of Slate. Veterans of on-line journalism and observers discussed the changes taking place in journalism as well as issues such as reporting and ethical standards, the fast pace of the news cycle, and the role of both traditional and new media in disseminating news.
