Peter Beinart was interviewed about his book, The Good Fight: Why Liberals--and Only Liberals--Can Win the War on Terror and Make America Great Again, published by HarperCollins. In his book Peter Beinart challenges liberals to reclaim the principles that he believes led to victory in the Cold War. Mr. Beinart suggests that those principles must be applied to current U.S. foreign policy. He discussed the book with Martin Sieff, who serves as national security correspondent for United Press International.

Peter Beinart is the editor-at-large of The New Republic. He also writes a monthly column for The Washington Post and is a contributor to Time magazine. close
