The Palestine Center hosted a panel titled “Seeds of Crisis: The U.S., Israel and the Middle East.” Participants talked about the root causes of the current conflict between Israel and Hezbollah forces in Lebanon, potential solutions to the violence in the region, and achieving a lasting peace in the region. They also talked about proposals for a cease-fire that had been rejected by Israel and the view of the conflict by the Arab public. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
