President Bush and Secretary Rice spoke to reporters about efforts to reach a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah forces operating in Lebanon. They talked about a draft cease-fire proposal before the United Nations Security Council, concerns expressed by the Lebanese government over the agreement, and proposals to introduce an international military force in the region to maintain stability. They also answered questions from the reporters. close
