Patrick Hynes discussed his book In Defense of the Religious Right: Why Conservative Christians Are the Lifeblood of the Republican Party and Why That Terrifies the Democrats, published by Nelson Current. He challenged negative stereotypes associated with conservative Christians and referred to religious conservatives as “the lifeblood of the Republican party.” Mr. Hynes discussed his book with guest interviewer Richard Cizik.

Patrick Hynes is a Republican political consultant. He also writes for the American Spectator, is a blogger for anklebitingpundits.com, and previously served on the Concord Monitor's board of contributors.
