Richard Norton Smith conducted a tour of presidential sites. A C-SPAN videojournalist accompanied the group. Included are several sites in Virginia relating the history of Presidents George Washington, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe.

This “Presidents and Patriots” tour April 28 - May 7, 2006, visited presidential sites and Civil War and Revolutionary War sites in the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The tour was organized by the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University and the National Archives. close
