Senator Barack Obama talked about his book, The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream, published by Crown. He was interviewed by Bob Herbert on stage before an audience. Topics included his law school experiences, his experiences as a new U.S. Senator, his opposition to the war in Iraq, the midterm elections, his social activism, and his religious faith. He indicated that he had not ruled out seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2008. He also answered questions from audience members. After the event Senator Obama was shown signing copies of his book.
